The Food and Drug Administration (FDA, Agency, or we) is announcing the withdrawal of the proposed rule entitled "Testing Methods for Detecting and Identifying Asbestos in Talc-Containing Cosmetic Products," which published in the Federal Register of December 27, 2024.
